What is a Power Word
Discover The Power of One Word
Sometimes, one meaningful word is all it takes to reconnect with what matters.
The Power Word Experience is an interactive 90-minute workshop that combines guided reflection, conversation and creativity. Participants are supported in choosing a personal Power Word and designing a mini vision board around it.
Their Power Word becomes a simple and memorable point of focus—something they can return to when they need clarity, encouragement, motivation or a personal reset.
This experience is creative, approachable and meaningful. No artistic experience is required.
A Power Word represents an intention, quality, feeling or direction that someone wants to bring more fully into their life.
It might be a word such as Confidence, Courage, Balance, Believe, Focus, Ease, Strength or Joy, but the word chosen by each participant is uniquely personal.
Through guided reflection and the creative process, participants explore why their word matters and how it can support them in moving forward with greater intention.

All mini vision board materials are provided, including 5 × 7 cardstock, markers, stickers and creative materials. Participants are encouraged to bring a notebook or journal and a pen.
Personal Power Word Experience
A welcoming and reflective workshop for individuals and groups. Participants explore what they want to welcome, strengthen or prioritize, then bring their chosen Power Word to life through a mini vision board.
Ideal for: Women’s groups, private gatherings, wellness events, friend groups, community organizations and celebration retreats.

Louanne Sylvestre
Louanne Sylvestre is an experienced event professional and wellness facilitator with a passion for creating meaningful experiences that support mental well-being, personal growth, clarity and connection.
As the Founder of Tranquillou Retreats, Louanne designs inclusive and approachable experiences where participants feel welcomed, supported and encouraged to reconnect with themselves. Her work is shaped by a genuine commitment to mental-health awareness and creating safe, compassionate spaces for reflection and meaningful connection.
Louanne has worked closely with Debbi Sluys, Founder of Dare to Declare™, receiving personalized coaching and training in the Power Word Experience. She combines this specialized guidance with her extensive background in event leadership, community engagement and wellness programming to create an experience that is uplifting, engaging and thoughtfully facilitated.
